We come to Cornwall twice a year, but this was our first time at Strawberry Hill! Super dooper equipped house and homely feel. Falmouth is always good on a 'non beach' day. Buy a ticket for the Maritime Museum and it lasts all year! Pizza Express there has fab views of the harbour! Carbis Bay is always great with Children as is Flambards. The whole of this part of Cornwall is fantastic even when the weather is stormy we love it!!!! - Delafond Family

Lovely holiday home. Clean, tidy, very well equipped. Swimming Pool opens 10am - 12 3pm - 6pm not all day! Great value and lovely owners. The new 4D ride at Lands End is fun @ £4.00 Would love to come back! - J & S

We have had a lovely relaxing break and Hayle is a lovely fishing village and you are well situated to travel pretty much anywhere! We have been to Lands End and Newquay. Have had lots of nice meals and would recommend the 'Old Quay House' which is only 5 mins out of Hayle. If you want a hearty breakfast, go to Heyl's Kitchen in the village. If you like your Cider, go to Healeys Cider Farm - don't bother with the Cider Farm at Lizards Point. Lizard Lighthouse is well worth a visit. St Ives is very pretty but very busy and parking is a nightmare. Be warned that all car parks are out of the town centre and you have to walk down very steep hills and back up again - no high heels!! And don't forget to get your Cornish Pasties from 'Phillips Famous Bakery' in the village - steak not mince! Enjoy :-) - Comment From Sarah - Thank you for the feedback - previous comment below from Kelly Family about St Ives - Catch the train from Lelant Saltings - not expensive and straight into St Ives.

Lovely holiday, fantastic weather !! So much to do and places to go. The house was so well equipped and the home from home feeling helped to make it a relaxing time. Kids loved the club and kept them amused. Loved Sennen Beach, Carbis Bay, Falmouth and Minack Theatre. Great holiday. PS Sid has two very large Chicks!! - Nicholls Family

Lovely well appointed accommodation. Beautiful beaches at Gwithian, good fishing trips from Penzance. If you like veggie food and good old-fashioned service, Johnny's Cafe in Hayle is highly recommended. The seagulls here have been getting up exceptionally early this week :-( and if they haven't woken us up, the kids club comes round at about 10.30 with whistles!! - M & J

Great place, clean, all mod cons you'll need. Have left tubs and cutlery for picnics coz we could not get in car! - Too many presents!! The whole coast is amazing - sunshine all week. We would highly recommend Healey's Cider Farm. If you have a family - Lands End is £4 car and then you have to pay for everything. Seal Sanctuary is very expensive also. Enjoy the whole coast , we will be back v soon! Happy Holiday x - Comment From Sarah - Thank you for the feedback - make sure you print off any vouchers before you go and look in reception at the site for leaflets as some have vouchers in them too for major attractions.

Very nice accommodation and beautifully fitted with all mod cons and good appliances. Had a good holiday relaxing - weather could have been a bit better! Used some of the site facilities - pool good. Sid came 'knocking' with babies on the roof to the right. Would definitely recommend. - Westbrook Family

Had a great long weekend. Lands End great apart from the weather! Marazion and St Ives were great and so was the weather. Played golf at Greenacres then visited St Just. Great pasty from Philps in village for lunch. Walked across causeway (paddled!) from Marazion to St Michael's Mount for lunch. Back to Rosarios for Cream tea! Evening meal at Lamb & Flag in Cannonstown - highly recommended. Travelled to St Ives on Train from Lelant Saltings. Very good day - ice cream was fantastic. Thanks Sarah we all had a lovely holiday and would recommend your holiday home to anyone! - Comment From Sarah - Thank you for the feedback - sounds like you loved the food - recommend the Lamb & Flag ourselves - in the winter and quieter season you can always get a table but maybe better to book in the summer months.

Superb family accommodation, comfortable, well equipped, lovely modern kitchen area. Dishwasher a fantastic thoughtful idea for house guests - No washing up what a treat! We love St Ives - it's really lovely at dusk with cafe/bars bistros all lit up - alive and kicking a great atmosphere. Curry Leaf in Hayle for a great takeaway. Hope to return. - Minnigin Family

Hampsons of Hayle is the best place for pasties. For a fun family day out go to Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre. We saw Sid - he just wouldn't come off that roof! I enjoyed my stay here - Foxy Club was THE BEST! The park was immense! - Kelly Family

Great accommodation, everything you need. Would recommend visiting - St Ives* - A lovely town, charming & full of character. Good shops and places to eat. We saw 4 seals in the harbour that surfaced after a small fishing boat of mackerel came in to off load. Fed them a few of the fish from the catch. Great experience, most memorable. *Point to note:- Parking in St Ives not that easy as car parks soon get full. We caught the train from Leland Saltings. Only 10 mins and not expensive for a return group ticket. Parking £2.00 or free in evening.
- Lizard Point - Fantastic scenery and view, well worth the drive. Lovely little restaurant/cafe recommended to us by the man on the gate to the National Trust car park. Great food and not too expensive. Best view on the Terrace overlooking the sea. The Lighthouse had things to see and do (although we didn't visit due to lack of time.)
- Perranporth - was good for a day at the beach. If you get there early should get a spot in the car park at the front. At low tide the sea retreats for 1/4 mile leaving a huge expanse of sand. Hayle Beach and Carbis Bay looked great also if you don't want the drive.
- Lands End - Good to see and say you've been.
- Tolroy Manor - Evening Entertainment good for kids. Relaxed Family Atmosphere.
- Comment From Sarah - Thank you Kelly Family for a wonderful Holiday Report. Judith Chalmers watch out!!!!

Fabulous accommodation. All mod cons. A lovely apartment. Entertainment in the club was awful (must have pick a bad week for it) Otherwise we had a great week. Loved Hayle Beach, Lands End, Penzance, Holywell Bay, Falmouth, St Ives & Newquay. Weather better towards the end of the holiday. Thanks for having us, would definitely come back. - Crow Family

We loved the accommodation! We couldn't believe how clean and well equipped it was! Our favourite day out was The Eden Project. Plenty of places there to enjoy a picnic. Sennon Cove was our favourite beach. Great for young children, shallow water for some distance, toilets, cafe, etc. Kids loved it! Paradise Park was a superb day out. Newquay was full of Hen & Stag Parties - a bit too commercialised for us. St Ives superb and beautiful. Minack Theatre was mind blowing although not for young children. - Bagnall/Evans Family
2009
Lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean and full equipped with everything you could need. Weather was great and Sid the Seagull paid us plenty of visits! Flambards is a great day out - especially for younger children. Dairyland a good trip too. Carbis Bay Beach is beautiful and has a handy shop and toilets etc. Would recommend the house to family and friends and would love to come back ourselves! We agree swimming pool is too cold!! - Hickman/Frost Family

Apartment clean, love all the cows everywhere. The bedrooms have a very homely feel, but the children found that the top bunk bed was very hard to get in and out of. We also thought that the bathroom was in very good condition. - Pugh Family

We had a lovely holiday. The accommodation was great but weather unfortunately poor. Plenty of things to do for all ages. Flambards really good value for money. Kids loved it. St Ives is wonderful. One of my most favourite places in the world. Spent many summers there. Would have to recommend The Curry Leaf for take away (Salmon tika starter) delicious. Great Mexican in St Ives also if you like that. Thanks again x - Costello Family
